The EU PHARE Programme finance project of "Pikant" Ltd.

The project "Preparing Pikant Ltd. for the common European market" is supported by PHARE BG 2004/016-711.11.04 under the Consultancy Grant Scheme.

The overall objective of the project is the achievement of European competitiveness through better awareness of the business environment on the EU common market.

The project will be realized in the period Dec 2006 - March 2007.

Quality of the products and Food Safety

Main principles of the company policy are the principles client-orientation and preserving the health of the customers. That’s why our strategic goal is our products to impress the end-user not only with superior taste, but with a perfect quality. We believe the food safety is a cricual factor for the business success.

In 2007 the company will introduce and certify a quality management system, meeting the ISO 9001:2000 standard. The implementation of the QMS is part of the project Improvement of the productivity of “PIKANT” Ltd. for making of frozen and heat treated meat products , which was financially supported by the EU PHARE Programme - Budget line BG 2004/016-711.11.04

Its implementation will supplement the existing GMP and HACCP systems, as well as all the EU sanitary and veterinary requirements for production of safety foods.
